SSS offers various facilities.

1.Infrastructure

We focus on small lecture sizes to consolidate individual learning needs and to meet specific help required by the students. Classrooms are well ventilated and comfortable. The Laboratories are ideally equipped with all necessary instruments and materials required to strengthen theoretical concepts through practical understanding and application that facilitates cater better understanding for academic excellence. Our students will have access to the IT/Computer laboratory for high speed, free internet access as a valuable research and learning tool in the college premises. The computer laboratory includes the latest PCs, on one to one basis.

As many teachers and parents will attest, reading failure has exacted tremendous long-term consequences for children’s developing self confidence and motivation to learn, as well as for their later school performance. Sushma Secondary has a well furnished library and mini class-room libraries in each class to help the children read to prevent the predictable consequences of early reading failure. We put reading first.

4.Transportation

Sushma Secondary school provides reliable transpiration service upon demand. The route, pick up and drop points are managed by our administrative staff. Parents are requested to contact the transportation section if need be. The School has a well-managed fleet of buses for the pick-up and dropping off of students to and from various hubs of the city. The facility is provided to the students for hassle free movement to and from the School. SSS  provides air–conditioned vans to transport the day students to and from the School, ensuring comfort and safety of the students availing the service. Every van will be supervised by a staff member, who will be responsible for coordinating pick–up and drop-off of students at designated stops.

5.Canteen

Sushma Secondary has spacious dining hall. We provide hygienic Lunch and Tiffin for all our students. We discourage our students from carrying any junk food. 6.ARTS - Explore and Express

Arts experiences boost critical thinking, teaching students to take the time to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world. The arts provide challenges for learners at all levels. Art education connects students with their own culture as well as with the wider world.

The expressive arts play a central role in shaping our sense of our personal, social and cultural identity. Learning in the expressive arts also plays an important role in supporting young people to recognise and value the variety and vitality of culture locally, nationally and globally.

7.Sports Facilities/Extra-Curricular Activities

A student is considered complete with a well developed all round personality if he/she is adept, not just in academics but also in the field of sports and extracurricular activities. The College has provisions for students to showcase their talents in various games like Basketball, Cricket, Football, Futsal, Martial Arts, Volleyball and other indoor games like Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess etc. The students are encouraged to participate in Intra and Inter College tournaments. The annual college sports events will provide every student with an opportunity to participate and excel in their chosen sport. As part of ECA the students are enthusiastically prepared and promoted to take part in various National and International competitions like Debates, Essays, Quiz Contests, Talent Hunt, Beauty Pageants, Exhibitions, Arts & Literature etc.

8.Yoga and meditation

It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration, energy and vitality. … Yoga asanas build strength, flexibility and confidence.

The act of practicing poses encourages children to clear their mind and focus on the effort. As a result of this single focus to achieve a particular pose or stay balanced, yoga helps children to focus and concentrate in school and get better grades.

9.Medical Diagnosis facility

A health-promoting school is a school in which all members of the school community work together to provide students with integrated and positive experiences and structures that promote and protect their health.

10.RoofTop Farming

As part of the Food for Life Partnership, Garden Organic, through
our Growing Skills Programme, is helping schools start and/or
develop organic food growing gardens. We aim to involve as
many pupils as possible while also encouraging participation
from staff and the wider community. By learning to grow food,
pupils acquire an extremely important life skill, re-establish
their connection to the food they eat and have often been found
to value and enjoy foods that they previously would not sample.

This resource aims to give a school all the information it needs to plan, design, construct, plant and maintain a sustainable organic food growing rooftop garden. 

11.Pre-Engineering survey

Surveying is involved in everything — from accurately drawing boundaries between private and public land, to inspecting bridges and other critical infrastructure. Without surveying, the placement, security, and safety of projects cannot be assured

12.Music and Dance Class

Dance is more than the exploring of different ways to make a shape or learning a series of steps to music; it is a way of moving that uses the body as an instrument of expression and communication. Through dance, students learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills. Dance awakens new perceptions in children which help them learn and think in new ways.
